Botanically Dye

a summer dress

This workshop is an invitation to pull on the threads of time as we carry ancestral practices into the now; creating a garment that tells the unique story of your color ways.

We will learn botanical dye techniques to naturally color a dress or robe. You may bring your own dress or choose from one of our high quality “blanks” available in our online shop.

Dresses must be !00% natural fiber; linen, rayon, wool, cotton or silk.

hand weave

a sun visor

We will weave a visor* using bundle-dyed silk and natural raffia.

Treat your hands to some satisfaction and create something of use and beauty.

*We will have time to weave a sun visor during the workshop. However, if anyone would like to make a hat instead, they may choose this more time-intensive option and finish their project at home.

Ceremony + Sisterhood

Come drink from the medicine THAT WE ARE when we gather together.
